The
lake trout occurs over most of Canada, including
western Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, and
most of Ontario. Lakers are also common in the
more northerly portions of Manitoba, Saskatchewan,
Alberta, and British Columbia. They have become
abundant in the Yukon, the Northwest Territories,
and many of the Arctic islands.
Labrador
is world reknown for its incredible catches of
Lake Trout. World record lake trout have been
angled in the waters of Labrador, Canada.
